and check out this nifty idea on beths blog for your amm tote. it fits into the bottom drawer so its stops if from falling over when you are using the drawer. i think angelas husband desrves a medal for this fab idea.

its been 12 months......

since andrew left. its not been good, infact its been really hard.


but its the little day to day things that are hard to do, like not looking at mens clothes when you are out shopping, picking something up in a shop that i know you would love but having to put it back, not being able to listen to certain songs, not being able to reach things off the top shelf in the supermarket, not being able to share that in joke when you are watching the tv late at night. having to put the bins out on your own late at night, not having a car and being able to go where you want when you want, having to get a taxi to take the animals to the vets...ive had to take them more times this year than in the past 3 years!

but most of all its not being able to visit you or being able clear your things out that hurt the most. i feel guilty on both counts. i should be able to visit you but it hurts too much. i should be able to clear your things but then i think if i get rid of them that you will think that i have forgotten you

i had struggled for ages trying to do this and if she hadnt have come to my rescue on msn then i would still be struggling now. i am hopeless at digi bt i just love the effects that you can get. the on the edge flourishes are by katie pertiet and you can get them from designer digitals now i just have to start using all the others that i bought lol.

spring has sprung

the sun is shining, washing is out on the line, ive cleaned the fridge out and i've even washed the windows outside...well okay only the ones at the back coz the sun is still shining on the front lol. i did 5 more pages in my 2005 xmas album yesterday and i'm hoping to do some more when i have finished doing my work...i normally do it on a monday but i have a hospital appointment tomorrow. what a difference the weather can make as i was really dreading this week but up to now it has been quite positive.

theres a new mag out called scrapbook dimensions it features digi and paper used together. the first issue is free to download and looks quite good....well worth downloading. you can sub to a hard copy or a digital copy and there is a free digi kit and classes once you have registered.

for christi and i. we have both been mentioned on shimelles site re the "i have to confess" class. although i was mentioned the link was wrong , so i emailed her to double check that she meant me... and she did! really chuffed to have got a mention and congrats to all the other girls that were mentioned or did that class as they are all fantastic.


blogger was playing up the other day and ive only just realised that it missed part of a post off so here it is again lol.

my bracelet from the scrapologie charmed i'm sure kit. it is soo lush. i added a few extra bits to it...ok more than a few lol...but it is now far too heavy and i'm going to have to take some of them off!

dolly beads

i managed to get a dolly bead today. jaq at a string of beads makes the most excuisite one off beads. i bought one for raena for valentines as a memento of andrew. it will be something that she will be able to keep forever. i decided to go with a necklace rather than a bracelet so that it will still fit her in the years to come.
